The VAFA is pleased to announce Rebecca Carter has been appointed Football Operations Assistant.
Rebecca, who recently completed a Bachelor of Business (Sport Management) at Deakin University, joins the VAFA after previously working in sports administration with Melbourne East Netball Association and Sandringham Football Club.
Sport has been a big part of Rebecca’s life growing up and she currently plays cricket for Box Hill CC in the Victorian Women’s Premier Cricket Competition. Box Hill went down to Melbourne CC in last weekend’s semi-final, but Rebecca impressed with a hard-fought 35 runs. She made 300 runs in the 2018/19 season and finished top 10 for runs made.
Rebecca started with the VAFA this week and will be working across football operations, umpiring and tribunal.
