Old Scotch has announced Barry Mitchell as their senior men’s coach for the remainder of the 2019 Premier B season.
Mitchell, who was senior assistant to Dale Bower, has vast Aussie Rules experience after playing 221 AFL games for Sydney (170), Collingwood (13) and Carlton (38) from 1984-’96.

“Our club is delighted to announce that Barry Mitchell will take over the role of Men’s Senior Coach for the remainder of the 2019 season, with effect immediately.
The club went through a considered approach to filling this important role and Barry’s appointment is the best outcome for the club to achieve its goals for 2019. Barry has been successfully filling the role of Senior Assistant Coach this season.
Our immediate focus is on this weekend’s match at McQueen Stadium vs University Blacks. We would love all the Old Scotch community to get down there to support our three senior men’s teams as they strive to win important matches.”
