In the VAFA’s first year with radio broadcaster RSN Carnival, the Match of the Round broadcast has been acknowledged in the Best Radio Coverage category while the VAFA Tragics will be vying for their third Best TV Show award.
VAFA photographer Max Taccoli has been nominated for his outstanding action shot of the most flexible boundary umpire in the competition (pictured above) while Nick Armistead’s William Buck Premier Report has also been shortlisted for Best Football Column.

The shortlisted applicants will now have their submissions evaluated again by a judging panel consisting of experts in the relevant field before a winner in each category is announced at a special luncheon at IKON Park on Friday 6 December.
