The VAFA Board met on Monday night to discuss options regarding the AGM which was not convened on December 6, 2021 as a sign of respect for Board Candidate Steve Laussen, who sadly passed away over the weekend.
At the meeting the Board members expressed their sincerest condolences to the Laussen family. Steve was a 220 gamer, B&F winner and premiership player for Collegians FC.
Several options regarding the 2021 AGM were discussed and it was decided that the fairest and most optimal approach was to abandon the scheduled AGM and recommence the process after the holiday break.
Notices will be sent out early in the new year regarding nominations for election of Board Members and the AGM.
