After 406 days, the drought is over!
Your favourite podcast is back for another week, VAFA’s For the Love of the Game!
For another week Grumpy Brian Waldron is unavailable, so off the interchange bench, Josh Heriot, young Handsome Dipper takes the reigns.
The halfway mark of the VAFA season is here and the analysis from the opening part of the year has never been stronger. However, the focus and attention was on Power House AFC who claimed their first win on the weekend in over a year. Jeff Scotland has returned to the club in a coaching capacity this year and finally can savour a set of four points.
St Kevin’s have moved back to the top of the William Buck Premier ladder, which leaves us asking the question – Can anyone beat them in both the men’s and women’s competitions! Caulfield produced the biggest comeback of the year after trailing by 45 points while there’s genuine dominance from University Blacks in Premier B. Plus, Friday night footy is BACK this weekend as Premier C play through the Queens Birthday bye.
Ask Grumpy Brian has been put on the back burner for this week, and will return ahead of Round 10 next week.
