Take a look at each and every club best & fairest winner across the three VAFA Premier Women’s sections.
William Buck Premier Women’s
Bree Doyle finished off a tremendous premiership winning season with the St Kevin’s senior women’s best and fairest. It is Doyle’s third best and fairest at the club.
Meanwhile St Mary’s Salesian had dual winners with Sarah Yule and Amy Kerr emerging as joint winners. Melbourne University’s Frances Walsh defeated teammate Tahlia Meier in the club best and fairest despite Meier finishing second in the league vote count.
Premier B Women’s
Meg Dargen has put together a brilliant season as she claimed the Premier B Women’s best and fairest in addition to winning Aquinas’s club best and fairest award. Dargen polled 18 votes to win the competition best and fairest with Old Brighton’s India Tait finishing back in fourth spot on 12 votes. Tait also went on to win the Tonners best and fairest award.
Meanwhile Monash Blues had dual winners with both Emily Conroy and Ainslee Elliott winning the clubs best and fairest award.
Premier C Women’s
Despite Brittni Donaldson and Maddison Wilson both polling more league best and fairest votes, it was Olivia Steinfort who claimed the St Bedes/Mentone club best and fairest. Steinfort polled 9 votes in the Premier C Women’s vote count, but her season was highlighted by a premiership along with the club best and fairest award.
Other notable winners included Mazenod’s Claudia Maguire with the club finishing third on the ladder while Hawthorn AFC’s Meg Boyd took out the clubs best and fairest award.
