The VAFA congratulates Old Scotch Star Georgie Kerr who has been nominated as the Round 8 Anytime Fitness Rising Star. Georgie is finding her feet at a new club with a strong presence in her first season of senior football. Her first two goals of the year coming last weekend against Fitzroy, helped the stars secure the win!

Old Scotch Stars Coach Dean Anderson believes Georgie Kerr has certainly made a big impact in her first season at Old Scotch Football Club.
“Georgie is a great trainer and has a bubbly personality that has made her a favourite amongst her fellow players and club officials.
Prior to moving back to Melbourne from Queensland, Georgie was playing in the AFL Queensland League and was a part of the Lions Academy.
Georgie’s game on Saturday included two goals with her goal and field kicking a real treat for spectators. Georgie has an obvious love of football and relishes the competition. Congratulations Georgie on your Rising Star nomination for Round 8.”
