The 2023 Division 2 Men’s Team of the Year has been revealed, take a look at who has been selected in the squad.
Parkside has three players selected in the side, along with 2023 premiership coach, Ricky Frost. Parkside midfielder, Jack Hamilton has been named captain of the squad.
The competition’s standout forward for 2023 from Whitefriars, has been named in the forward line. Daniel Wood caps off the year with the Division 2 Men’s Best & Fairest and Leading Goal Kicker awards, as well as a selection in the Team of the Year. He represents the club alongside Cotter, Kieseker, and Garratt.
MHSOB has four players selected, whilst Brunswick and the Old Yarra Cobras are represented by three players respectively.
Harry Dwyer from Aquinas rounds out this sharpshooting forward line, alongside Jack Elliston from St Mary’s Salesian.
Melbourne High’s upper and comer Petro Pirozek makes his debut in the team after earning an Anytime Fitness Rising Star nomination this season.
