The 2023 Premier B Women’s Team of the Year has been revealed. Take a look at who has been selected in the side.
The team features four players from both Grand Final teams – Monash Blues and Old Yarra Cobras. Ainslee Elliott was the star in 2023, leading the way on the field and taking her side to the promised land, she has been duly rewarded with the captaincy of this side. Whilst Iliana Zafiriou received overwhelming support from the selection committee to be named in this side.
2022 Premier C premiers St Bede’s Mentone/Tigers also have four representatives with Maddy Tilley making it her second consecutive year selected in the ruck. Stephanie Smith is one of three from Mazenod, she has also followed up her selection from 2022 with a place in this side this year.
