Established in 1892, the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) has a long and rich history as a nationwide leader in the Community level football industry.
The VAFA currently has two (2) Board appointed positions and one casual vacancy available on its Board of Directors.
The Board welcomes interested people to provide an Expression of Interest to fill these roles.
The Board appointment positions are made on an annual basis on one year terms (ie. as has been the regular practice, the term will expire at the AGM in December 2024).
The person appointed to the casual vacancy will fill the term of that vacancy through to the next AGM in December 2024.
Any such Director can then stand for election at the AGM in December 2024 to secure a three year term on the Board. Board appointed Directors can also be re-appointed to those same positions (as Board appointed Directors) on a maximum of three (3) one year terms.
To register your Expression of Interest, please include a covering letter highlighting your capabilities to contribute to the VAFA Board and Strategic Plan, together with your resume’ outlining your experience and skillset.
Please direct all submissions to the Company Secretary, Mr Jason Reddick, at [email protected] by close of business Friday 2nd February 2024.
