James is a speedy wingman and has impressed with his ability to read the play in order to have effective impact around the ground at Senior level, in just his first season.
What the club said:
James is currently studying a bachelor of law and business at ACU and is originally from Ballarat. Arriving at the Club this year, James has made an instinct impact on field, playing every game of the year. Playing the wing role, James has adapted to the level of senior VAFA footy with his running capacity, ball use and ability to read the footy, a standout of his game so far. He played his junior footy with East Point and GWV Rebels
Uni Blacks Coach Dale Bower said, “James has really controlled his wing this year. He is great in one on one contests, a fierce tackler, wins his own ball & uses it well. He racks up high stats weekly & has gained great respect from his teammates, coaches & the wider Blacks community.”
