The 2025 VAFA Football Season will commence on Saturday 5th April for all competitions, with every section playing two rounds before the Easter long-weekend bye on 19th April.
The VAFA has determined section structures for the 2025 season across the six senior men’s competitions.
The Senior Men’s competition operates on a promotion/relegation structure which sees the two Grand Finalists move up a section, whilst the two lowest finishing sides are relegated down a section.
Below are the movements across the Men’s Premier and Divisional competitions:
| Relegated | Promoted | |
|---|---|---|
William Buck Premier Men’s | – | Old Haileybury De La Salle |
| Premier B Men’s | Fitzroy Old Melburnians | Old Carey Hampton Rovers |
| Premier C Men’s | Beaumaris St Bedes/Mentone Tigers | Prahran Parkside |
| Division 1 Men’s | Monash Blues Oakleigh | Elsternwick Brunswick |
| Division 2 Men’s | West Brunswick Old Yarra Cobras | Canterbury St John’s |
| Division 3 Men’s | Wattle Park |

Season 2025 will see Division 3 Men’s revert back to a 10-team competition, due to the departure of Bulleen Templestowe AFC following the 2024 season.
The 2025 senior men’s section structure will be as follows:
