VAFA footy returned after the Easter break for round 3 of the 2025 season – here’s a quick look at some of the highlights from the weekend.
We start in William Buck Premier Men’s for the inaugural Showcase Round where all five matches were live streamed on VAFA.com.au, starting with Old Scotch v Collegians on ANZAC Day and then four matches simultaneously on Saturday.
Will Mayhood launched a 55 metre bomb in Collegians 38-point win over the Cardinals at Camberwell Sports Ground, their first of the campaign.
While at the Snakepit, Felix Flockart snagged a handy goal in Old Brighton’s 54-point win over St Bernards.
In Division 1 Men’s, Dan Cullian on his debut for Therry Penola kicked a goal after the siren to win the game.
As always, there is an incredible amount of respect shown across many VAFA grounds on Friday and Saturday to honour ANZAC Day.
A new and improved look for Fixtures, Results and Ladders was introduced on the VAFA website ahead of the weekend on the VAFA website. Get all the info you need without leaving VAFA.com.au
