2025 William Buck Premier Men’s Grand Final Day
Take a look back at 2025 VAFA William Buck Premier Men’s Grand Final day at Elsternwick Park, as Old Brighton defeated Old Scotch to claim their first top-flight Premiership.
The VAFA congratulates Antonio Giampa from De La Salle Football Club who has been nominated as the Round 6 Anytime Fitness Men’s Rising Star. Antonio started the season in the U19’s and has quickly made his mark in the Senior side.
What the club said:
Antonio has fitted in seamlessly into our football club since joining us from Ashwood U16’s.
Impressing in his early games in our U19’s, he was duly rewarded with his senior debut in Round 4, and has put in really strong performance in all senior outings.
As a 17 year old, he has a body built for senior footy. He is a powerful and extremely skilful young man. The way he plays is fearless and we encourage him to take the game on and play to his strengths.
Antonio has made an impressive start to his De La career, and we look forward to continue watching his attacking flair off half back and his damaging ball use.
