Take a look back at 2025 VAFA William Buck Premier Men’s Grand Final day at Elsternwick Park, as Old Brighton defeated Old Scotch to claim their first top-flight Premiership.
Here’s a look at some of the Week 14 social media highlights across VAFA grounds in our weekend wrap, as all sections were back in action following the rep footy double bye.
At Elsternwick Park, a late goal from Thomas Williams gave the Caulfield Grammarians the win over Old Melburnians in Premier B Men’s Reserves.
It was a thrilling finish in William Buck Premier Men’s at the Snakepit, where a Marcus Holland goal in the dying seconds gave St Bernards their first win at home this season, while denying De La Salle’s first victory of their 2025 campaign.
Over to Division 1 Men’s, there was another thriller at Brens Oval, where a goal by Jacob Hunt as the final siren sounded gave UHS-VU a two point win over Oakleigh.
Caulfield’s Jono Moren took a courageous speccy in Premier B Men’s.
In Premier B Women’s, Nayely Borg kicked a beauty from 45 for Port Melbourne Chargers.
We saw some great milestones over the weekend. Chris Angus ran out for his 300th game for Old Carey.
While at Hampton Rovers, Mandy Naylor become the first women’s player to play 100 senior games for the club.
And at Whitefriars, Clare Fernandes became the first women to reach 100 games in another great milestone.
