Smartplay believes that Victorian community sporting clubs play a key role in helping to make sport safer and lowering the rate of sporting injuries in the community. However, many clubs need more encouragement and incentives to keep up this great work. The Victorian Smartplay Sport Safety Champion Award is a great way to highlight some of this great work and Smartplay is offering over $2,000 in cash and prizes in recognition of this.

At the VAFA Board Meeting on Wednesday night two AFL rule changes were approved effective immediately.

The VAFA and EFL Captains of the much anticipated bushfire relief match have been announced. Old Xav Tim Fleming will lead the Big V whilst East Ringwood veteran Marcus Buzaglo will lead the Easterners.
