Emmaus St Leos remain undefeated in 2015, destroying La Trobe University by 102 points at Bennettswood Sports Ground. Ryan Harding showed no signs of slowing down at the top of the goal kicking leader board, sending through another haul of six and taking his overall tally to 66 for the season – 16 more than his nearest rival.
West Brunswick made it six wins in a row when they obliterated Glen Eira by 116 points at Packer Reserve this afternoon. Despite an inaccurate goal kicking display, the Westies were able to send through 52 scoring shots to six. Cormac Cashin was the best afield, running riot in his side’s monster win.
Hawthorn stamped their finals credentials all over Division 3, dominating UHS-VU and running out 86-point winners at Rathmines Road Reserve. Vice-captain Jason Ince did the damage up forward with six goals, while Sam Gold did it all around the ground with three majors and a bevy of important possessions.
Aquinas all but sealed third spot on the Division 3 ladder with a 38-point win against Power House at Ross Gregory Oval. Jai Perrett and Patrick O’Leary did the bulk of the damage for the Bloods, kicking eight goals between them, while Luke Stubbs shone brightest for Power House with five of his own.
