Box Hill North climbed into the top four following their 127-point decimation of Masala at Elgar Park on Saturday afternoon. Daniel Penny booted seven for the home side, while Sam Freeman snagged four of the Tigers’ seven for the match.
Parkside made it two wins in a row on the back of their 29-point win against Mt Lilydale at Pitcher Park. Leading by three goals at quarter time, the Red Devils never once let up on their way to a comfortable victory. The win elevates the Red Devils to sixth, while the Rams fall to seventh on the Division 4 ladder.
Point Cook maintained touch with the top sides following their 49-point victory over North Brunswick at Saltwater Reserve. Leading by 11 points at the main break, the Bulldogs flexed their muscle and piled on eight goals to three in the second half to run away with the win. William Dawson starred in a best-on-ground performance, booting seven goals along the way.
