The VAFA invites all females 15 years old and over to join us for our inaugural BJS Women’s Umpiring Academy ‘Bounce & Brunch’ event on Sunday 23 February at Elsternwick Park.
The VAFA is proud to support women in achieving their goals in umpiring by providing a fun environment where they can learn, develop or progress their umpiring and the BJS Women’s Umpiring Academy aims to increase female participation and active community engagement through our junior leagues, VAFA clubs and pathway programs.
The inaugural ‘Bounce and Brunch’ event will commence at 9:30am on February 23 where females will be exposed to coaching and training as well as the chance to meet and speak with current VAFA coaches and exciting AFL guests to be announced shortly, finished with a brunch to welcome in the academy.
