Senior coach Peter Higginbotham said: “Blake has made an impact on the club and competition that I’ve never seen in 30 years of senior football. He has come into the senior side, straight out of the under 19’s and his been crucial in the outcome of our games across the opening month of the season.

He has stamped his authority on the midfield early in his career, fighting against bigger bodies, he hits the scoreboard and is a regular in the backline fighting to regain possession.

He shows poise, and skill well beyond his years. Blake is a worthy recipient and a great person who gives his all for his club.”
