We kick off the second half of the Home & Away season with a visit to the Snake Pit for our SEN live coverage this week while it’s a crunch game for University Blacks on Kommunity TV and an important afternoon for Old Xaverians on VAFA TV. Find out how to catch the action live.
This week’s SEN VAFA Match of the Day sees St Bernard’s host University Blues at the Snake Pit.
The Snowdogs will be desperate to snap their 6-game losing streak and if they can find a way to capitalise on the chances they create, are well capable of troubling the in-form Blues, who arrive on a 3-game winning streak that has elevated them to third position on the ladder.
Can St Bernard’s pull off the upset and jump-start their season?
Tune into our LIVE coverage from 1:45pm through the SEN App, SEN.com.au and VAFA.com.au, hosted by VAFA Media’s Paddy Grindlay and featuring interviews with the coaches, special guests and more.
The SEN App is available for iPhone and Android, and works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This weeks KommunityTV live-stream double-header takes us to Melbourne University Oval as University Blacks host Old Brighton.
Much like the Snowdogs, Blacks are entering a critical phase of their season, with a challenging 3-week stretch that begins by hosting the league-leaders.
Blacks arrive at Round 10 just one win above the drop zone, having lost 4 of their last 5 to slip to a 3-6 record.
But 4 of those 6 defeats have come by 2 goals or less, including their Round 2 clash with Old Brighton, who they pushed to 9 points at Brighton Beach Oval after holding them scoreless in the third term to level the game at three quarter-time.
Can Blacks kickstart their campaign with a huge win at home or will the Tonners resume normal transmission?
Catch the action LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on KommunityTV, with Reserves coverage from 11.40am, followed by the Seniors game from 1.45pm. A News Corp subscription is required to watch the live stream on KommunityTV – sign up from just $5 per week.
Our VAFA TV live stream takes us to Toorak Park this weekend as Old Xaverians host St Kevin’s in a critical game for Xavs, who had strung 3 straight wins together before being overwhelmed by the Cardinals in the second half last week.
It saw Xavs slip to sixth at the halfway mark, with 4 of their 5 wins coming over the 4 teams below them.
Ranked #8 in Attack and #5 in Defence, Xavs could use a big scalp to ignite their campaign and ensure they keep in touch with the leading pack.
But beating SKOB is easier said than done and last season’s runners-up will roll into Toorak Park on a 4-game winning streak that includes meritorious victories over Old Scotch & Old Brighton.
Can the hosts snap SKOB’s winning streak and claim their biggest scalp of the season or will St Kevin’s keep on rolling?
Catch our OLD XAVERIANS vs ST KEVINS double header live streaming at VAFA.com.au from 11.40am Saturday (Reserves) into the Seniors from 1.45pm.
