2009 NATIONAL COACHES CONFERENCE
The AFL is inviting coaches of all levels to take part in the 2009 National Coaches Conference to be held in Melbourne on Jan 30th to Feb 1st. The conference theme, ‘Coaching Effectiveness’, focuses on strategies to ensure coaches are effectively delivering on their coaching goals and objectives.

MICHAEL HAZELL JOINS THE VAFA BOARD
Former Salesian, Old Melburnian and St Bedes Mentone Tigers star Michael Hazell has been elected to the VAFA Board following the resignation of John Bell at the VAFA AGM.

2008 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The VAFA held it’s Annual General Meeting last night at the Melbourne Racing Club at which Vice-President John Bell’s resignation was announced and the subsequent Board vacancy was filled by Michael Hazell from St Mary’s Salesian.
